March 26, 2024

Dear Pastor and friends,

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.  Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit is no guile.”  (Psa. 32:1&2).  Though this is a wonderful Old Testament Psalm, it reverberates with the blessing of forgiveness purchased on Calvary by our Lord Jesus Christ in New Testament times.  The shout from Calvary and the triumph of the tomb both proclaim the forgiveness of sin and a new life in Christ Jesus.  Hallelujah!

March has been filled with three weeks of meetings (and a week of editing the July/August issue of the Baptist Bread; and I am on my way to Arizona to preach over the Easter weekend…to those of us truly converted to Christ, every Sunday is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ!  Really, every day is a resounding, Amen, to the truth of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord.  April is takes me from Florida to Michigan and a couple other states in between, busy; yes, and thankful to be in the service of our dear Saviour.

Thank you very much for your help in getting the Gospel to folk and also, preaching to revive the saints!  Sometimes I think it is more difficult to revive our churches than to see folk converted to Christ.  May God bless you richly for your kindness to Sandy and this evangelist.

In remembrance of Calvary,

September 27, 2024     Dear Pastor & friends,   Wow!  This has been an interesting and exhilarating month.  I preached the 40th Anniversary at the Capitol City Baptist Church in Austin, Texas and the attendance was 1,040 and 40 received Christ as Saviour!  Some were saved in the Spanish service…so […]

August 23, 2024     Dear Pastor & friends,   Well, another summer is about to morph into falling leaves, cooler temperatures and church folk, hopefully gathering back into a more settled and faithful walk with and worship of our Lord.  Summer so often gets busy with vacations (and they are necessary) and […]

July 30, 2024     Dear Pastor & friends,   The work of God is such a monumental task that I sometimes wonder why the Lord left it up to mere man.  Angels would be more holy, lions would be more intimidating, swans would be more beautiful…He chose us!  Witnessing for Christ when […]

June 21, 2024   Dear Pastor & friends,   I just got home from preaching in two meetings in two churches in Georgia and Tennessee border towns.  One blessed event was the surrender of a young couple to go to Laos as missionaries.  The wife is Laotian and her pastor husband told me the […]

May 29, 2024   Dear Pastor & friends,   It is an interesting life on the ‘revival trail’ for over 48 years.  I have seen some real services, where it seemed the Lord’s presence was evident and exceeding in blessing the entire environment.  Other times His hand seems to be withheld, perhaps for […]

April 26, 2024     Dear Pastor & friends,   Well, another busy month is nearly behind me, I am closing out the days in Stanwood, Iowa in revival meetings.  The church is very small but I have never let the size of anything be the determining factor in where the Lord sends me […]
